I wasn't even trying to go for the feelings in this, but this is what came out. I guess it's keeping in theme with my Marys that cry blood, I imagine this is the pain of the Great Mother on display. Acrylic and pen on canvas board.
Speaking of Mary, the weather is getting nicer so I may plan a trip to the Marian shrine again soon. Friends certainly want to join me on a trek there in the summer. I didn't go last year (I think?) so definitely this year I want to go back.
